Jalchintan is a multidisciplinary peer reviewed journal of science which covers various aspects of science and environment. Science and technology cater to the need of young budding scientists in particular in the country and meet the challenges of the society in general. Strategic research and technology development programmes dedicated to the rural population can only change the destiny of India as the economy of the country, by and large depends on agriculture led growth and development even today. This journal covers the aspect of protection and improvement of natural resources, environmental pollution, climate changes, disasters, degradation in water qualities, biotechnological developments for the benefit of human society in general and rural population in particular. As all of us are aware that ICTS can play an important role in management of resources, projects and analysis of geographical data, maps and images, papers related to ICTS also come under the jurisdiction of the journal. In addition ,the journal covers the scope of hazardous materials, greenhouse mitigation and ways of controlling hazardous metal pollution. Special focus has been made on the environmental research. ||
